GM Saginaw Takes Delivery on Lifeguard Recycling System!
General Motors in Saginaw, Michigan has taken delivery on their new Lifeguard Coolant Recycling System. This Lifeguard is a Model 800-400/400/HSC, equiped with an Alfa Laval high speed centrifuge, making this the most effective, and efficient, coolant recycling system on the market today!

Prior to this installation, this GM facility was losing thousands of gallons valuable coolant every month, when they spun their chips in an effort to creating the desired chip handler's requirements. However, the coolant extracted from these chips was sent to the wastestream.

Porter Systems designed the controls of the Lifeguard to accomodate the pumping of this would-be "Wastestream", directly to the Lifeguard Recycling System. The coolant is now processed, into a clean, prestine, and reusable coolant that is pumped directly through a pipeline system back to the machine tools.

Please join us in applauding GM's efforts to become "Green Friendly", while at the same time, maintaining their highly efficent manufacturing processes.
